Current workshops:
'Arts for Health' - Present venues - Hartington Surgery, Hartington & Biggin Village Halls & Longnor Church (Balcony Room).
The 'Arts for Health' project is a free, informal, friendly art group that offers a variety of art materials for all ages & abilities. Our project theme relates to 'Our Peak District' that encourages self expression, relaxation, walking & sketching (weather permitting).
These art sessions are aimed at developing confidence, self esteem, social skills & therapeutic benefits amongst the client group & will run on a Mon afternoon over a 2 year period from July 08 - July 10 (please contact the artist for time/dates).
This project is funded through the 'Sustainable Development Fund' the Peak District National Park Authority - The Derbyshire Dales District Council, 'Community Grant Scheme' - The North Derbyshire Voluntary Action Small Grant Scheme & The Derbyshire Community Foundation Fund.
Please note - New members are always welcome, this project is for individuals residing within the catchment area of the Hartington Doctors Surgery & is supported by Hartington Surgery Patients Group.
